Alice: Madness Returns from @EA (slight update)
So… I restarted the game, thinking I’d try fiddling with the graphics options some more. And suddenly, IT WORKS! I’d still like some response though. The fact that EA’s own support tool is broken worries me. I’m also concerned that the issue that prompted this may reoccur, since I did nothing to fix it (and also nothing to break it).
Alice: Madness Returns from @EA...
… is seriously fucked up. As in broken.
Here’s the text of the support ticket I’ve just raised with EA support. I haven’t included the screenshots at the moment, but I’ll post them if people are at all interested.
Recently purchased game via steam. Getting severe graphical issues. System is fully patched with Windows Update and ATI drivers are most recent...

Some of these make my brain hurt. I particularly like the Coca-Cola and Pepsi ones.
Not fixed... #3ds #dhcp #nintendo
So, after a system update, Nintendo haven’t fixed the fact that the 3DS includes a SPACE character in the hostname it requests from a DHCP server.

Comedy is Serious
Alex: I like that rule, that the fewer people who get the joke, the funnier those people find it.
Graham: Yeah, I call it the Law of Inverse Comedic Magnitude.
Kathleen: So that's why the homeless guy laughing his ass off at a dead raccoon found it so funny, because he's the only one who got it.
Alex: His whole life lead up to, and converged on, that moment.
Kathleen: Exactly.
Graham: Is that... is that a thing you saw?
Kathleen: No, that dark scene was entirely from my own mind.
Alex: I'm not sure that makes it better.
Kathleen: Well, at least there isn't a homeless guy laughing at a dead raccoon somewhere.
Graham: There... there probably is.

Fail
Apparently, City Link tried to deliver to me on both the 2nd and the 3rd. Yet, no card was left.
Attempting (via the sender) to get it redelivered to work, since the option to collect from depot is USELESS as it requires you to have the card that they HAVEN’T LEFT.
Muppets.
